The Association for Social Promotion (APS) Nuovo Orizzonte The Association for Social Promotion (APS) Nuovo Orizzonte is a non‑profit organisation founded in 2011 and based in Pesaro. Born with the mission of promoting social inclusion and the protection of rights, over the years the association has evolved into a point of reference for high‑profile cultural mediation and international academic cooperation.
We work to foster dialogue between Italian institutions and the Mediterranean region, acting as facilitators in linguistic, professional and academic integration pathways. Thanks to a solid network of relationships, Nuovo Orizzonte now acts as a bridge between the Italian education system and centres of excellence in the Arab world, with a particular focus on the Maghreb area (Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria).

The mission of Nuovo Orizzonte is to build solid bridges between cultures through education, institutional dialogue and the protection of rights. We work to turn human and student mobility into an opportunity for mutual growth, supporting each person – from university students to migrants – in fully developing their potential within an inclusive society.

WHAT WE DO
In addition to local support services, the Association has expanded its scope of action into high‑level institutional and educational fields:
Support for Institutional Conferences: We organise and manage specialised support services for major national and international events, overseeing logistics and protocol.
International Reception: We provide reception and protocol services for foreign delegations, ensuring linguistic and cultural mediation that facilitates diplomatic and institutional relations.
University Cooperation: We work actively with leading universities in Italy and North Africa. We promote exchange agreements, research partnerships and mobility projects between the Italian academic system and universities in Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria.
Training and International Students: We support the participation of students from the Arab world in bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes at Italian universities, offering orientation, administrative assistance and academic integration programmes.
